@Ralf Schulz, Partner at h&z, and co-author of the book described the major impact of Industry 4.0 on the procurement function. “Procurement will increase its corporate value significantly as an innovation ’catalyst’ by linking suppliers value contribution to ensure market leadership and company growth. In a time where external value creation will reach up to 70–80% procurement will more than ever be a key C-Level function.”
