Teamwork and flat hierarchies are not hollow phrases at h&z, but our lived company culture. Together, we reach the highest levels of performance. These different backgrounds strengthen our holistic view during client projects. We consistently combine rational strategies with emotional motivation. The working atmosphere at h&z is characterized by motivation, passion and commitment. For this we have received numerous awards in Germany-wide competitions. We love consulting and we make it worth living. Our everyday work as consultants includes amongst other things the Friday breakfast, retreats, regular exhibitions in our office spaces, soccer tournaments and other sports groups as well as family events. Even though the number of our consultants has grown to 120 experts, we have maintained a close and uncomplicated relationship between employees and managers – it is important to us to work as partners at eye level.
Consulting with Hand
Each analysis, strategy and concept can only be successful if it is implemented correctly. That is why we place a lot of value on the implementation competence of our employees. It is not just important with regard to our clients; instead, we promote our employees with tailor-made training classes and work models and open up individual career pathways for them. To ensure concrete and practical implementation in the projects, we maintain direct, open communication as well as a sophisticated feedback culture. Amongst other things, this includes biannual feedback rounds during which our employees evaluate one another regarding their joint work. The process takes place across all hierarchy levels.
Project work in a team
An h&z team supporting a client project consists of several employees from different areas and backgrounds. The teams are recombined for each individual project to promote interdisciplinary.
Following our consulting philosophy, close cooperation with our clients is very important to us. We are convinced that challenges and changes can only be overcome together. As a rule, projects therefore last several months. This ensures successful implementation and secures the developed concepts and strategies.
We are proud of our customer relationships that span many years. 98 percent of our clients hire us again. This includes both DAX 30 corporations as well as numerous midsized companies.
