Careere
Respect, enthusiasm and passion paired with creativity and result orientation form the basis of our work culture
Analytical, methodical and conceptual skills are prerequisites for consultants. But technical know-how alone is not enough in a people business such as consulting. It requires a significant amount of finesse, social competence, persuasiveness and passion. That is the only way we can move people, get them to accept changes and work with them successfully. Our goal is to be a partner of trust for our clients with whom they can master the tasks at hand.
For that, we are always looking for passionate consultants with Head, Heart and Hand. Your career path should have been focused, but did not always have to follow a straight line. What’s important is that you share our joy of consulting and want to grow with us.
Trainers at the h&z Business Academy
Our subsidiary, the h&z Business Academy, has made a name for itself with client-individual expert and method seminars along the whole value chain. We bank on individuality, not conformity – and the client feels that in every workshop and every coaching session from the very start.
Our trainers are convincing due to their personal mix of technical and methods/concept strengths as well as their strong social competence and emotional intelligence. Trainers at h&z can draw from their many years of experience as trainers and consultants in an international environment and are familiar with at least one of the areas of sales, supply chain management or service from their work for market-leading companies. Soft skills for didactic method competence, presentation and moderation techniques and excellent communication skills round out their profiles. Only all skills combined make a trainer with Head, Heart and Hand successful.
Application process
Please send your application as a PDF file via email to recruiting@huz.de.
Your documents should include the following information:
- Motivational letter including your salary expectations and possible start date
- CV
- Certification of professional and academic career (including your last school diploma) as well as other certifications
After we receive your application, we will decide within the following work week if we want to conduct a telephone interview and invite you to attend our recruiting day in Munich. We will contact you personally to set up a date. If your application is rejected, you will hear back from us within the same timeframe.
Recruiting day
The goal of the recruiting day is for both of us to gain a clear picture of one another. To that end, you will talk to different h&z employees at consultant, project manager and principal level. In addition to your technical expertise, we are particularly interested in getting to know you as a person. We are convinced that the chemistry within the team must be right in order to be able to successfully implement joint projects later on.
Recruiting day schedule
- Introduction to company culture, training, opportunities for development, etc. at h&z
- Questions about your CV and your expectations
- Questions you have for h&z
- Case study
- We then decide whether to continue the dialogue.
In a positive case, you will go out for lunch with one of our employees followed by additional discussions focusing on different contents:
- Technical case study with presentation
- Your questions to h&z; case study
- In case of positive feedback from all previous discussion rounds: meeting with one of the h&z board members: Your questions to h&z; meeting to explore your expectations in detail.
After five successful discussions, we often already decided the end of the day if we will make you an offer.
IYour start at h&z
Within the first two work months, all new employees participate in a two-day “Integration Camp” organized and conducted by two h&z partners. Away from the h&z office, all participants retreat to a mountain cabin (for example) to talk about h&z in detail and get to know one another. The camp focuses on h&z culture, the expectations of employees and their first experiences. Other team events such as hikes or zip-lining are part of the program.
